Microblading Of Eyebrows
Today Iam gonna talk about another service or treatment that is available in our clinic, that’s microblading of eyebrows.
Nowadays, thick and well defined eyebrows are in, and defining eyebrows is an important part of the makeup, Well defined and dark eyebrows look very attractive.
Microblading of eyebrows is very popular these days.
Microblading is for ladies who have very thin or very light coloured or ill defined eyebrows or the gap between the brow hair is very large.
Microblading fixes all these problems.
It helps in reshaping, reconstructing and enhancing the appearance of the eyebrows, it helps you get well defined, natural looking, dark eyebrows.
What is Microblading ?
Everyone has an idea about how tattoo is made, so microblading is kinda cousin of tattooing, its like getting a semipermanent tattoo done on eyebrows It’s a semipermanent makeup for your brows.
Its done in a similar fashion as a tattoo.
The difference being its not permanent , it lasts for 1-3 years depending on your skin type and lifestyle, as we use micropigments ( generally iron oxide) and not tattoo ink and the pigments are put in the junction of epidermis and dermis that’s shallow as compared to a classic tattoo in which the pigments are put much deeper.
Also unlike a regular tattoo, microblading is a form of tattoo artistry where pigment is implanted under your skin with a manual handheld tool instead of a machine.
First, we consult with clients about the best brow shape for their face and choose a color that matches the natural hair color and skin undertone.
The brow area is then cleaned and numbed for the treatment.
Each micro blading stroke is applied individually, allowing the control of the shape, colour and density of the completed eyebrows.
We use a super-fine pen with 12 to 15 microblades for depositing ink pigments in the form of hair strokes.
This gives very fine, natural-looking shaped eyebrows.
We draw hair-like strokes with the tool to mimic natural hairs in your brows. Even though it’s not as deep as the regular tattoo, it’s still a tattoo because pigment is implanted under the skin.
What Is Cosmetic Tattooing?
It is used as a means of implanting semi-permanent color pigmentation beneath the surface of the skin that resembles makeup, enhancing colors of the skin on face, lips, and eyelids. Thus enhancing the natural features of your face.
What Is The Difference Between Cosmetic Tattooing And Standard Body Tattooing?
Body tattooing uses ink while cosmetic tattooing uses pigmentation that will fade over time. Cosmetic tattooing also does not go as deep as body tattooing so it is not permanent.
Does It Hurt?
Everyone has a different tolerance for pain. You will experience some discomfort. However, we use a very effective topical anesthetic gel that will numb the area before and during your procedure.
Is There An Age Restriction?
Yes, you must be over the age of 18 to have any semi permanent procedure done.
Can I Have The Procedure Done While Pregnant Or Nursing?
As a precaution, we do not perform cosmetic tattooing on pregnant or nursing women.
As we do not want to put you or your baby to undergo any stress.
How Long Does Cosmetic Tattooing Last?
Many factors will affect the length of your tattoo. Lifestyle, skin type, your overall health, and other skin care regimens will play a role in the length of time for your tattoo. As it is a semi permanent tattoo it will fade over time with the average being 2-3 years. We recommend getting your brows refreshed after 1 year at a reduced price.
How Many Treatments Are Needed?
Your eyebrows require 2 appointments. Your initial appointment and a touch-up appointment. Your first appointment is about 2 1/2 hours and your 6-8 week touch up appointment is 1 1/2 hours.
What Is The Healing Time?
Each client’s skin responds differently to these treatments. Immediately after the procedure, you will have minimal redness and slight swelling and this will disappear in a few hours. The area will be tender for a day or so. During the initial healing period, there will be minimal scabbing or flaking of the skin. If there is some scabbing or flaking, do not pick, and allow the scab or dry skin to come off on its own.
What Will It Look Like Right After The Procedure?
For 4 days following it will look darker and thicker but will slowly lighten over the next few weeks.
It will start to scab after 4 days and the first hint of the true color will appear after approximately 10 days.

It is important to not get the area wet or to apply anything other than what is advised by the doctor. no sweating no swimming, hot yoga or the gym no exposure to the sun for 2 weeks only rinse your face twice a day for first 10 – 14 days, no soap, shampoo or chemicals of any kind are to be used on your face or touch your tattooed area no makeup, ointments, creams of any kind for the first 2 weeks you will be given a special ointment to apply to the tattooed area.
